Film distribution is usually called “the Art of the Deal” because the enormous amount of cost in money and time deal with film distribution. My paper is going to included both U.S. and international that connect to film business. I will explain how film distribution works. I will also research very significant facts and information on the film distribution including film markets and copyrights and independent distributions.

오프닝 씬의 음악이 참 좋은 영화이다. 세련되지는 않지만 인디영화의 독창성을 보여준다. 미국의 중산층의 메마르고 건조한 삶을 잘 말해주며 또한 가족간의 갈등과 해소를 잘 드러낸다.

우리의 삶 가운데 beauty란 무엇일까? 외적인 것, 내적인 것? 주인공인 올리브는 리틀 선샤인 competition에서 자신만이 가진 할아버지 한테 배운 스트립쇼와 댄스를 선보인다. 남들은 인정안하지만 가족들은 함께 무대에서 춤을 춘다. 이것이 beauty이다. 자기 자신만이 가진 고유의 것, 남들이 가지지 못한, 남들이 따라할수 없는 것, 가족들은 이 contest로 그들이 가지고 있던 모든 갈등들을 덮고 가족이라는 하나의 공동체로 살아갈수 있는것이다.

이 영화에서 나오는 버스는 가족 공동체를 의미한다. 혼자서 운전하거나 이끄는것이 아니라.. 가족 모두의 힘으로 버스가 가듯.. 가정이라는것도 연합하여 하나가 되는 것이다. 포스터의 색깔도 기가 막히다.. 노란색.. 희망의 색. 고흐가 사랑하던 ... 또한 내가 좋아하는.. 노랑의 꿈.. 오늘도 그들 가족은 노란 버스안에서 갈등과 화해를 반복하며 살아간다..

- 장이모는 거장임에 틀림없다. 죽어가는 아들을 위해 떠난 중국 여행은 부자간의 관계를 이어주는 촉매제의 역활을 한다. 아버지는 아들의 인생을 추적한다. 그가 얼마나 외로웠으며 쓸쓸했는지, 아들의 행적 하나하나에 관심이 많다. 영화의 제목처럼 인생은 혼자 떠나는 여행이다. 양양과의 만남과 이별은 병든 아들과의 화해이며 그와의 이별을 예감한다. 이 영화에는 두 부자의 이야기 남겨져 있지만 오늘을 사는 우리들에게 과연 아버지는 아들에게 어떠한 존재인지 다시 한번 생각해보게 해준다.

아직도 문명이 묻지 않은 중국의 시골의 도시를 디지털 카메라로 담는 장면은 어쩌면 아들과의 추억을 담는 하나의 도구일지도 모르겠다. 감옥에서 아들의 사진을 보며 눈물을 흘리는 경극가수, 같이 우는 수감자들의 모습속에서.. 갑자기 헐리웃의 영화 '셜리번의 여행'이 떠올랐다. 하지만 이 영화는 조작된 웃음이 아니라 인간적인 눈물을 보여준다. 왜 중국 몇몇 감독들을 거장이라고 이야기 하는지 알겠다. 그들은 자기만의 독특하고 특별한 시선이 있다. 이 영화는 모든 아버지들을 위한 영화이다.
