Jesus's mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit before the marriage. Joseph was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace. But after he had considered a quite divorce, an angel of the Lord appear to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, becaouse what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, becuase he will save his people from their sins."

Mary gave birth to a son, and Joseph gave him the name Jesus as the angel told him.


The family tree is really significant when we study the particular person like Jesus. Jesus was born by God's plan. Joseph was afraid of his pregnant wife, but he obeyed what God told him. It seems that God controls everything. We only have to obey his words without fear. It's the year of 2010. It's the time to obey. It's time to live for God as God's people did. God, thank you for your Holy Spirit which always comes with Capital letters. You are so merciful that you used 5 gentile women for your universal salvation. That's really brilliant.
